Featured Youth Artist: Gulf Coast Museum of Art

My name is Rebecca Herrin and I have been a member of the Youth Arts Corps for about a year and a half. I have taken photography and jewelry but stayed with photography in the end. The Youth Arts Corps, I believe, has prepared me for a real job experience. The program has introduced me to new friends and brought out my creativity through photography. Each photograph I make is like a snapshot into my soul. My experience at Youth Arts Corps has been a learning one. I am now able to look at the world through a lens and see beauty in every object, this is something that I will take with me to college and beyond. I plan on attending University of Florida to pursue architecture or law.
