Art in the Environment
Youth Arts Corps members had the opportunity to try new painting surfaces while helping out 4-H. Painting students were requested by 4-H Youth Development Agent Jean Rogalski, to lend their creative vision in transforming rain barrels into works of art. The painting workshop took a field trip to 4-H’s site where they learned about plants, their grow cycle and the need for rain barrels. Led by artist Yoko Nogami, students were challenged to paint in the round in order to create these useful works of art.
