Cassie Merritt
Cassie Merritt has been a member of the Youth Arts Corps Productions in Pinellas Park since 2008. Cassie attends Largo High School, is going into the 11th grade, and enjoys her World History, English, Spanish, and 2-D/3-D Art classes. At the Corps, Cassie has taken workshops in Clay, Video Production, and Mural Painting.Cassie says that what she loves about the Corps is “having the resources for interesting art projects provided free of charge.” She says that completing art projects gives her a sense of accomplishment and feels happy when someons likes her artwork enough to purchase a piece.

Cassie is a fabulous artist and an exceptional young woman. I hope she stays involved in the arts, no matter what she chooses to do in her future. It is an honor and a joy to have her in the Mural Class.
