Stirred with Surrealism
An exhibition of works inspired by Surrealism. This exhibit is the result of a collaboration between The Salvador Dali Museum and the Youth Arts Corps, and is made possible thanks to a National Endowment for the Arts project grant. The show features Teen Podcasts created by students from the Dali Musuem’s Teen Docent Council and a selection of art created by Youth Arts Corps members in response to the Dali Museum collection. Working under the direction of artist instructors Lucy Trimarco, David Walker, Mark Runge and Valerie Diaz Leroy, YAC students toured the Dali Museum collection and then responded to his ideas by creating paintings and three-dimensional work in glass and video.
