TASCO Sculptures!
August 18, 2009
Unfortunately this year we had no venue to host our final competition between all of TASCO’s summer camp recycled works of art. Judges visited each site where the final sculptures were evaluated on their creativity, originality and ingenuity. All of the sculptures that were available to be photographed are here so that everyone can see what an absolutely phenomenal job the centers did! Special thanks to our artists, Rose Marie Prins (Dr. Rose), Cheryl Murphy and assistants Joshua Steward and Chaya Rubin. A lot of creative minds came together and came up with amazing results, which do you like best?

Girls Mission Possible
May 13, 2008
Jane Buck is our current artist-in-residence with the Girl’s Mission Possible program. Jane, a literary and visual artist, is teaching the girls to create handmade journals that they will use to document their life. During the journal making part of the workshop the girls are experimenting with handmade papers, beading and collage. Jane will be teaching the girls poetry and the art of journaling, which will result in a very meaningful work of art.
